Drink

A Freehouse: " An independent pub that is not beholden to any brewery and so can sell whatever beers it chooses."

As a Freehouse with a well stocked cellar including regularly changing local ales, we are showcasing the best of the region’s craft ales and beers. Our Bar Manager Jacob is passionate about the drinks he has on offer.

So whether you come in for a soft drink, a couple of beers after work, or perhaps you need a bespoke cocktail to match your celebration we have it all, and if there is a local company producing quality drinks you can be sure we have something here representing them.

The Bar

Bar Opening Times

Monday to Saturday: 11:00-23:00

Sunday: 11:00-22:30

The bar is well stocked, offering a range of draught lagers, ales and ciders, many of them local - we are proud to have been included in the CAMRA 'Good Beer Guide' every year for the last nine years and continue to support our many local brewers. We also stock a wide range of spirits, again including a wide selection of locally made spirits such as Cotswold Distillery Gin. We love wine, and we've tried to keep our wine list keenly priced but with some interesting options.

Cask Ales

All real ales are £4 for a pint and £2 for a half pint.

If you can’t make up your mind, why not order one of each as a tasting platter.

Three 1/3 glasses for £4.

We’re lucky to have some incredible breweries here in The Cotswolds. Our three hand pumps are constantly rotating with local, and the occasional guest ales. From time to time, some of these will be unfined and vegan. Please talk to a member of staff for more information.

Local breweries on regular rotation:

  • North Cotswold Brewery
  • Stroud Brewery
  • Wye Valley Brewery
  • Goffs Brewery
  • Gloucester Brewery
  • Clavell & Hind Brewery
